The Monastery Immaculate Conception (Castle on the Hill)

Historic landmark in Ferdinand, founded in 1867 and home to a large Benedictine community. It’s restored Romanesque dome, adorned with 89 angels, rises 87 feet above the town. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Monastery features a gift shop with handmade crafts and treats, and a new Hospitality Center offering a peaceful retreat.
