Starting on Monday, September 15th West 9th Street will be closed to thru traffic between Missouri Street and West 13th Street for a water valve replacement project. The work is expected to take most of the week to complete.

If you live in the Ferdinand Township and the Town of Ferdinand and want a rewarding feeling of serving your community we are accepting applications now until October 31, 2025. Pick up an application at the town hall Monday through Friday 7:30-4:30 or by contacting any firefighters.

The Town Council recognized Town of Ferdinand personnel on August 19, 2025.

Tom Lueken will be retiring after 24 years. Eric Rahman received his LTAP Paser Certification.
Austin Ryan received a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship from the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water (presented by Kelly Gardner – Apprenticeship Program Coordinator) and earned his Wastewater Class 2 License.

Congratulations to Kyle Lechner for earning the Class 2 Wastewater Certification and to Clint Meyer for passing the Waste Distribution Medium Certification.
