Kiwanis Organization

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Ferdinand was chartered on December 2, 1981. The club has had an active presence in Ferdinand for almost 43 years.

The Ferdinand Kiwanis sponsors and uplifts three student groups in our school corporation: Kids at Cedar Crest Intermediate and Builders Club and Key Club at Forest Park Junior Senior High School. The Kiwanis Club’s community presence is noted through the Avenue of American Flags project, the Forest Park Youth Soccer program sponsorship, and the Christkindlmarkt food booth.

The club meets the first Wednesday of each month at Fleigs at noon. Kiwanians also meet the third Wednesday of the month at the Ferdinand Community Center’s Mobel Room at 5:15PM or at special club events. We invite you to join us in strengthening and building up our community and children by becoming a Kiwanian.
