Mark your calendars! Saturday, May 17th, from 10 AM – 2 PM, join us for a day full of flowers, fun, and fresh air scattered throughout the Town of Ferdinand. Sponsored by Framing Ferdinand, this event is all about bringing the community together to celebrate the beauty of spring with activities for all ages.
Enjoy a relaxing picnic vibe at the Wollenmann House, where you can bring a blanket and soak in the surroundings or grab a seat at one of our picnic tables dressed in classic red-checkered tablecloths. While you’re there, enjoy FREE balloon art, face painting, and a hands-on flower pot decorating and planting experience. The Bistro will be offering a special quick & easy menu, and a variety of food trucks will be set up at RDM, serving delicious eats from morning through the afternoon—something for everyone! The Humane Society will also be on-site with some sweet dogs looking for love—please stop by to interact.
We can’t say enough about our merchants who have come together in a BIG way, each offering their own unique and creative opportunities that showcase the spirit and energy of our community. Be sure to take advantage of all the fun things our merchants have planned—free seed packets, exciting giveaways, crafts and classes, and so much more. They’ve really gone all out to make this event special for everyone!
In addition to all the fun, browse a variety of vendors featuring hand-sewn items, a plant truck full of beautiful greenery, and handmade fishing lures from a young entrepreneur eager to showcase his work.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Stop by the Ferdinand Library for story time and crafts, visit the police station for a spring safety talk, tour police cars, and receive special goodies from the officers, and enjoy all the other surprises along the way.
What better way to celebrate spring than with community, kids, picnics, and plenty of FREE activities? We hope to see everyone come together to enjoy this special day, creating memories, indulging in great food, and embracing all the wonderful amenities our town has to offer!
