MEETINGS
ABOUT THE EDC

The Ferdinand Economic Development Commission was reactivated by the Ferdinand Town Council in 2015 and is currently available to discuss growth and development opportunities, including residential, commercial and industrial projects.  Commission members bring a diverse background in finance, human resources, economic growth and industry to the conversation.  The Town of Ferdinand is willing to work with developers and business officials and help realize their vision, including the use of a tax abatement program, that has been around for over 25 years and has proven very beneficial for growth.  We, as a town, want to continue building on our previous successes and develop focused, steady and sustained growth, furthering bolstering an already strong economic base.  To discuss an economic development opportunity with the Ferdinand Economic Development Commission, please contact Ferdinand Town Hall at 812-367-2280.

ABOUT US

Very few places can truly blend natural beauty, agriculture and industrial development the way Ferdinand does. The strong elements of faith, religion, family values, work ethics, sense of community, and respect and appreciation of environment form the foundation upon which Ferdinand was built, and continues to grow.
