What Is The Heimatfest?
The Heimatfest committee is a group of volunteers that aims to grow the Ferdinand Heimatfest attendance year over year. The hope is that people from surrounding areas will come to visit Ferdinand for the weekend, see the strong community support and benefits that Ferdinand has to offer, and start thinking about Dubois County as a place to live and work.
In the same line of thought, the Heimatfest committee want to welcome back people who were raised in the area and have since moved away to visit and witness the commitment to progress, coming to the same conclusion.
